Thanksgiving '08

We went to my parents house in San Diego and were joined by my brother's family.

Every Thanksgiving my mom cuts out an image for the kids to paint.  Last year it was turkeys.  This year it was gingerbread men/women.

Thanks mom for the yummy meal.  We had a great day!

Our Real Names

Last night Mason says to Erick "I know what your real name is.  It is Erick."  Then Miles says, "And I know what mommy's real name is.  It is Lovey."  (That is what Erick calls me.  It is from Thurston Howell III's wife on Gilligan's Island)

Visit From The Twins

James (Erick's brother) and Britni came up to visit.  Their twins are getting big!

After James had his son Tyler, he got Tyler's name tattooed on his forearm.  I guess now he has to get his other arm ready for Macie and Madison.  Ouch!

Our daughter was born Friday, November 14, 2008 at 9:32 am.  She was 7.5 pounds 19 3/4".  She is perfect!

Mason thinks she is the cutest!  He says that he had been praying for a sister.

Thank you all for your prayers!  Everything went really well and fast!  We are all doing great and enjoying our precious daughter!

"Lost" another tooth

This is the third tooth Mason has lost, but it is the first one on the top.  Funny thing is it is really lost.  He woke up in the morning and it was just gone.  I didn't find it in his bed.  Maybe he swallowed it!

Burp Cloths

There is something about being pregnant that makes me want to sew because that is the only time my sewing machine comes out.

I have seen these sold in baby boutiques but they cost too much money to have your baby spit up on them.  So I thought I would give it a try.  They are so easy.  Just stitch some fabric to a cloth diaper and you got yourself a much cuter burp cloth.

Avary Dietrich

Jacob and Lauren's beautiful daughter was born October 29th.  Avary is so blessed to have two of the most wonderful parents.  We are so happy for you guys!

 

Rocco's Eyeball Party

Our friends Dustin and Carmine's son had his 3rd birthday party today.  Rocco requested an eyeball party, which was a big hit with the kids!  Happy birthday Rocco!
