Oh My!!! She is so Precious!!! She is just the sweetest thing!!! It is getting harder to take pictures of her. She is crawling all over the place and won't hold still. As soon as she sees me she starts charging at me. May be I'll give it another try tomorrow :-)

Music Mondays #2
Because Mondays can be wearisome... here are some lyrics to turn your thoughts to Him!
Come Unto Me, Ye Weary Words by William Dix
“Come unto Me, ye weary, and I will give you rest.”
O blessèd voice of Jesus, which comes to hearts oppressed!
It tells of benediction, of pardon, grace and peace,
Of joy that hath no ending, of love which cannot cease.
“Come unto Me, dear children, and I will give you light.”
O loving voice of Jesus, which comes to cheer the night!
Our hearts are filled with sadness, and we had lost our way;
But He hath brought us gladness and songs at break of day.
“Come unto Me, ye fainting, and I will give you life.”
O cheering voice of Jesus, which comes to aid our strife!
The foe is stern and eager, the fight is fierce and long;
But Thou hast made us mighty and stronger than the strong.
“And whosoever cometh I will not cast him out.”
O welcome voice of Jesus, which drives away our doubt,
Which calls us, very sinners, unworthy though we be
Of love so free and boundless, to come, dear Lord, to Thee.
"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden and I will give you rest" Matthew 11:28

Do you have peace and joy?
Erick has this written on the back of his bible as
a reminder to repent and receive the peace and joy that is should
always be ours in the Gospel.
"What do you want so badly today that it is making you depressed,
anxious, covetous, bitter or angry? What is making you sick of soul?
That is the idol you need to repent of today! Pray and confess it to
your Father."

River
We went to the river with Erick's parents. The boys had a blast. Ellie loved playing in the water. She was stung by a wasp or a bee and that made her very mad but other than that she did great.
She did not like her life jacket very much.
It was hot!

Not What My Hands Have Done by Horatius Bonar, 1861
Not what my hands have done can save my guilty soul;
Not what my toiling flesh has borne can make my spirit whole.
Not what I feel or do can give me peace with God;
Not all my prayers and sighs and tears can bear my awful load.
Your voice alone, O Lord, can speak to me of grace;
Your power alone, O Son of God, can all my sin erase.
No other work but Yours, no other blood will do;
No strength but that which is divine can bear me safely through.
Thy work alone, O Christ, can ease this weight of sin;
Thy blood alone, O Lamb of God, can give me peace within.
Thy love to me, O God, not mine, O Lord, to Thee,
Can rid me of this dark unrest, And set my spirit free.
I bless the Christ of God; I rest on love divine;
And with unfaltering lip and heart I call this Savior mine.
His cross dispels each doubt; I bury in His tomb
Each thought of unbelief and fear, each lingering shade of gloom.
I praise the God of grace; I trust His truth and might;
He calls me His, I call Him mine, My God, my joy and light.
’Tis He Who saveth me, and freely pardon gives;
I love because He loveth me, I live because He lives.

Etsy is a site to buy and sell all things handmade. This site is addicting. There is a ton of fun stuff to find. I bought some really cute customized labels to sew into anything I make. Erick has found a lot of really cool t-shirts. The prices are awesome too! Thanks Carmine for telling me about Etsy. You are my source for all things cool and fun :-) !!!

And He Is Off!!
Mason learned to ride his bike yesterday! Look at his face. He was so HAPPY!! Way to go Mason! You are AWESOME!!!
This is Rocco Wood. He is only 3 but he rides this scooter like a 9 year old. I cracked up when I saw him jump on the thing and just jam up and down the street like he has been riding for years.
We had a great time with the Woods on the 4th of July. Dustin and Carmine taught us an amazing trick to teach kids how to ride a bike super fast. We didn't really believe that it would work but it was amazing!! Within 20 minutes Mason was riding up and down the street all by himself totally confident. It was unbelievable! Last year we tried teaching him for several days (with the standard method). He really struggled with the balance and coordination and he never really got it so then the interest was kind of lost. So if you have a kiddo that needs to learn let me know and I will tell you how!
