Chicken Tortilla Soup
I found this recipe on the Tasty Kitchen website. It was yummy and a bit spicy. I think I might have added a little too much chili powder or maybe it was the 1/2 cup of diced jalapeno peppers but it was still great. I improvised and added some extra stuff (diced potatoes) and deleted stuff (sour cream). I couldn't wait to slurp it down and I forgot to take a picture so I had to pour an extra bowl after we ate just for the picture :-) I ran out of time and didn't get to make the tortilla strips so I guess it isn't technically tortilla soup. I have been so eager to make soup. So as soon as it was no longer 108 degrees out, I decided to go for it! Delicious!

Trader Joe's Pick Of The Week #6
This dip is AMAZING!!! And that is coming from someone that doesn't particularly care for spinach or artichokes! I used to serve this back when Kaleo met at our home. It would get devoured before I could grab the second one out of the microwave. Come to our house tonight for spinach artichoke dip and the Gospel Christianity study!

Our little egg heads
The boys made these last Monday. We cracked the top off the eggs, scooped the guts out, shoved a cotton ball inside, sprinkled seeds on top of the cotton, and watered daily. Look what happened in just 7 days! The boys had great fun making these.
Here they are at Day 1. Mr. Egghead on the left had some sort of tiny ground cover flower seeds (sorry I forgot the name). They started to spout only after 2 days but never grew very tall. The middle 2 eggheads had chive seeds which were not very spectacular . But Mr. Egghead on the right was the most impressive. We put cat grass seeds in him. I was really doubtful that anything was going to happen with this one because the seeds were so big. But within 2 days they started to spout and grew like crazy!
Day 7: On the left are some sort of small tiny flower seeds and on the right are chives.
Day 7: The cat grass seeds.

Little Cute Cobb Cousins
We went to Erick's parents and Ellie got to hang with all of her Cobb cousins. It is so cute that there are 4 little girls in the family all about the same age. It was funny how all of us mamas were trying to make pig tails out of our girl's tiny amount of hair. They are all finally starting to get a little bit hair! I am feeling horrible because when we got there Miles had a temperature of 101.6!!!! He is looking better this morning but I hope we didn't infect everyone :-( Sorry, I didn't know he was sick!!!
Madison and Macie looking adorable.
Ellie with her uncle James and Charlie looking in the background.
