Taekwando Purple Belt Testing

Mason was so nervous!  We missed the last testing so it had been a while since he had to perform in front of everyone.  The amount of moves they have to remember is incredible and there are a TON of people watching!  He prayed for courage and went out and did it!  Awesome!!  Way to go, Mason!!

Penguin Hater

Mason student of the month 2nd grade 001

I bought this "Adorable Penguin Humidifier" for Ellie.  She hated it.  When I brought the box in her room she cried.  I started to take it out of the box and she started SCREAMING and then she ATTACKED it.  She was violently swinging her arms at it and kicking it.  I can't remember ever seeing her fearful or upset at anything until now.  Crazy!  The adorable penguin had to be exchanged for a faceless humidifier :-)

Student Recognition Ceremony

Mason was chosen as the student of the month for academic achievement and character development.  They have the students that are chosen give a short speech.  He did fantastic!!!  He spoke with such clarity and confidence.  His teacher called him a "model student".  We are very proud of Mason's diligence in school and praise God for the work He has done in Mason's heart!
